Spring 2015 Research
In April and May of 2015, two Return Recycling bins were placed into two student lounge spaces in New York University.
Check out the results below:
DIVERSION
On average, our bins yielded a diversion rate of 83.49%,
which is a 31.86% increase from NYU's typical rate.

ACCURACY
On average, our bins yielded a sorting accuracy rate of 63.43%,
which is a 11.72% increase from NYU's typical rate.

COMPOSITION
On average, our bins reduced liquid content in the solid waste stream by 59.57%.
