A quick CONGRATULATIONS... On Tuesday this past week the Return Recycling team was awarded $2,000 in collective scholarship for a video we created on the research we've done at NYU. Click here to watch our short!
Over the course of last semester we sorted through approximately 150 pounds of trash to see what NYU was throwing out in its lounge spaces. The entire process was a rich learning experience for our team and an incredible opportunity for us to show the strength of our research capabilities.
The video that we submitted this semester as part of the Dean's Undergraduate Research Fund's Video Contest allowed us to explain some of that work in a digestible way with the rest of the student body. We're incredibly thankful for the scholarship funds and greatly appreciate CAS's generosity!
